English May 2017 Immigration In 2016, over 11 million unauthorized immigrants migrated to the United States stealing jobs, not contributing to the society, and spreading unhealthy and unsanitary disease throughout parts of the United States. Though immigration is a heavy topic to debate upon, with facts and evidence of today's problems with invaders, immigration should have more forced regulations and laws upon it. America is breeding ground for immigrants, both legal and illegal. Although, there is a great difference between illegal immigration and legal immigration, here is why. Immigrants take US jobs and do not contribute to the society by paying taxes. In the working field, this is called “being paid under the table.” Citizens of the United States taxes range from 11%- 30% of your average income a year. That is a decent amount of money taken out of one paycheck. Taxes include school funds, work on cities, major highways, medical funds, country defense, safety net programs, etc. In 2016, it was documented that about 8% of illegal immigrants in the nation have contributed to our country. That is 880,000 persons out of 11 million. These statistics do not compare to the US citizens. If illegal immigrants are not going to contribute the United States laws like every other citizen, then we should not allow such corruption in our country. Since 2008 illegal immigration has become a huge issue in our society. Illegal immigrants migrate from all over the world but over 50% of persons have come from Mexico in the past 3 years. Some illegal immigrants pay up to $200,000 USD to get guards at border control to turn their backs so that they can have a plethora of aliens enter the USA. Also, studies show that many Mexicans have swam from the Gulf Of Mexico to the coast of Florida in order to enter the US. This is not only dangerous, but it brings disease and unsanitary health into our country. For instance, there have been cases of Ebola in the US, that people believe to have come from illegal immigrants. This is dangerous physically but mentally as well. By allowing this, we, our country, will slowly but surely become the land of the unknown people, those who are undocumented with no real identity. This could lead to serious issues, considering the government has no real security system for aliens. As shown on several reliable news channels, European countries have succumb to several terror attacks. As you know, the EU has little to no border control at all terrorists can freely travel throughout making attacks easily accessible in those areas. Illegal immigration is dangerous for our people. We don't know who is entering our country when someone crosses the borders without any recognition of who they are. Our country can not take any chances of terrorist attacks or loosing everything we worked up for. Not saying, immigrants are terrorist, but with the luck of the United States and other countries, offering our world for people of fraud and theft is not the right choice. Illegal immigration should be put to a stop but immigration in general is a healthy and positive value for the United States. Many doctors, professors, hair designers, models, policeman, nurses, etc. Are all apart of immigration. Except the difference between a legal and an illegal immigrant is the point that they worked to become a citizen. They went through all the customs and high demands of the country to be able to succeed here. It's only fair for people who wants to live in the United States to involve themselves as much as possible, just like every other person living here. Having immigration in the United States doesn't have to be a bad thing, if we would only have a greater force and regulation upon it. Immigration has done a great deal for our country as well. It has brought culture, religion, and difference in our country. It has expanded our knowledge of the world and has allowed our country to reach out to others. By protecting ourselves we can protect others. We need to work together to make this world a healthy environment for all cultures. We all understand in today's world there are many countries in need of help, but it is nearly impossible to do so when we have immigrants migrating into our country, causing distractions. People in Mexico need to be patient because with time, our government will help other countries and help their economies rise to power. We will make America great again by creating a system for immigrants to freely enter our country, but we will work and live the way our system works. In conclusion, illegal immigration is a very sensitive topic to debate upon but with facts and evidence supporting the opinion, the crisis should be stopped. For many decades illegal immigration has only brought problems into the United States. Racial, prejudice, terrorist issues, and even economic problems as well. To prevent such conflict in our country we need to secure the immigration law by enforcing certain policies. For instance, national borders can be watched closer with more effect and enforcement when securing the borders. When illegals go to find a job, owners can and should check for legal documentation. For instance a passport or a birth certificate to prove the person's identification in the country of the United States. If we, as a country, begin to respect one another and respect ourselves and all that we have worked up to become, our country will achieve what none other has, and that is peace, nation wide. As a whole, we need to help other nations rise to power but make sure we support ourselves first.
